Improved accessibility features

All the necessary tools to create an accessible workbook have been added in one place using the Accessibility ribbon in Excel. The multifunction ribbon brings together the fixes for the most common accessibility problems in one place, along with explanations for each problem.

Text and matrix functions

14 new text and matrix functions are now available in Excel 2024, designed to facilitate the manipulation of text and matrices in worksheets. These functions simplify the extraction and division of text strings and allow you to easily combine, reshape, resize, and select matrices.

Blocking of XLL add-ons by default

We have added a new default setting for Excel 2024, which blocks XLL add-ons from the Internet and helps to protect you and your data from attacks distributing malware to unsuspecting victims.
