Autodesk AutoCAD is one of the most widely used and enduring CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software in the world, designed to create high-precision 2D drawings and 3D models. Used by architects, engineers, designers, and design professionals in various sectors, AutoCAD represents the reference standard for technical and documentary design. Its flexibility, power, and customization capabilities make it an indispensable tool for those working with technical and industrial design.
Who is it suitable for
AutoCAD is ideal for:
• Architects who need precise tools for construction drawings, floor plans, and sections.
• Civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers who need to create, modify, and document systems, structures, and components.
• Industrial and interior designers for product layout, furnishings, and interior spaces.
• Surveying and urban planning professionals, for the representation of subdivisions, surveys, and infrastructure networks.
• Building technicians and plant engineers, for technical documentation and metric calculations.
Main features
✏️ Precise and detailed 2D drawing
AutoCAD offers advanced tools for creating and editing two-dimensional drawings, with snap functions, geometric constraints, layers, line styles, and parametric annotations.
🧱 Solid, surface, and mesh 3D modeling
It allows the creation of detailed three-dimensional models, useful for realistic visualization, analysis, and prototyping.
📐 Intelligent tools for productivity
Includes features like automatic object recognition, quick measurement tool, command auto-completion, and automatic cloud saving to access files anywhere.
📦 Specialized libraries and vertical toolsets
AutoCAD includes dedicated toolsets for specific sectors:
