Microsoft Access is a software interface for managing relational database (RDBMS) types that utilizes the Microsoft Jet Database Engine and natively incorporates a module for the rapid development of management applications (RAD, Rapid Application Development). For the development of simple applications, you can avoid programming directly, using some templates already included in the package. For more advanced development needs, the Microsoft Visual Basic programming language is available in the product (for Office applications defined as VBA - Visual Basic for Applications). Although the product supports object-oriented (OO) programming techniques, it is not a fully object-oriented development environment.
